Sixpenny Additive is the AM branch of the Sixpenny group, a Toronto company with deep metal fabrication, and complex project execution experience.
Who We Are
Sixpenny Additive grew out of Sixpenny's fabrication background and R&D efforts. After years of building complex metalwork for architecture, industry and public art, and ideating new products/components optimized for AM, we saw that metal additive manufacturing needed more than machine access: it needed application judgment, design support, post-processing and a realistic path to production.
The additive group was created to help Canadian manufacturers adopt AM with that practical lens — combining service-bureau printing, equipment supply, integration and technical support.
Our Approach
We exist to make metal additive practical for Canadian manufacturers — not as a buzzword, but as a working tool. That means honest advice about where AM fits and where it does not, the right system or service for the job, and support that continues after the first print.
Facilities
Our additive work is backed by Sixpenny's 16,000 sq ft Toronto shop and CWB-certified fabrication background, giving us metalworking, machining, finishing and project-delivery capacity most AM-only providers do not have under one roof.
